Tasting notes: Bacchus is often compared to Sauvignon Blanc and in England can be highly aromatic. The nose showcases aromas of white peach, elderflower and freshly cut grass. The palate is light, dry and crisp with citrus and tangy gooseberry flavours, as well as a long steely finish. 

Winemakers notes: An aromatic and elegant reflection of the 2024 vintage, this Bacchus is a more restrained expression of the normal notes with wonderful balance. The grapes were picked by hand in October 2024, then destemmed and pressed following a short time cold soaking. The must was then fermented cool in stainless steel. After fermentation, the wine was allowed to age for a short period on the fine lees before being bottled in Spring 2025.
