Tasting Notes: Not a usual blend you see produced in England due to the late ripening of these varieties. The grapes produced for this wine were grown under glass. This results in a medium bodied red wine, with gentle red fruit characters plus subtle spice and coffee aromas coming from the oak. The palate is fairly rich, but restrained due to the time spent in oak and bottle. Very food friendly.
Winemaker's Notes: A non vintage blend of roughly 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. All of the grapes were hand picked, crushed, fermented and then aged in oak anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. The wines were then blended and bottled.
