Sparkling NV Rosé
Alcohol: 11.5 %
Grape Varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Dornfelder.
Tasting notes: Pale salmon in colour with a delicate nose; reminiscent of raspberry and rose petal. On the nose it is delicate and fresh with gentle raspberry aromas. The fruit flavours are accentuated by a smooth and creamy mousse. The wine is fresh and fruity, with raspberry flavours and an elegant creamy mousse making for an approachable, fruity, English sparkling wine for any occasion.
Food pairing: Bowing to the stereotype: we love to pair our NV Rosé for a proper Cornish sparkling cream tea. Boddington's jam (lumpy with whole strawberries), Rodda's clotted cream and freshly baked scones. A must for an afternoon tea party!
Winemaker’s notes: A seductive, sparkling rosé made from a blend of the best vintages of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Grapes for this non-vintage sparkling rosé wine were handpicked before being very gently whole bunch pressed. It was fermented in small, separate batches in stainless steel to express the individual grapes character. Following blending the wine, secondary fermentation occurred in bottle and it then underwent 9 months lees ageing before being disgorged.
