Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Character: Soft, delicate, fruity
Aromas: Strawberry, vanilla, violets
Flavours: Strawberry, cherry.
Style: Similar in style to a Sancerre or Provence Rosé
Food Pairing: Perfect with roast chicken or fish dishes.
Vinification: The grapes were crushed and cold macerated for 20 hours to extract colour and fruit. After pressing the juice underwent a cool fermentation in a mixture of old french oak barrels and American oak barrels, adding sweetness texture and vanilla cream notes.
Winemakers notes: Proof that Rosés can be serious wines! A blend of sparkling and still clones of Pinot noir were used. This is an elegant, pale and restrained rosé, perfect on its own or with a wide range of foods at 10c.
