Knightor Pinot Noir Rosé 2018
Vinification: Picked by hand late in October, this batch of Pinot Noir was very clean and displayed very good ripeness. The grapes were crushed and cold macerated for 14 hours to extract colour and fruit. After pressing the juice underwent a cool fermentation a small proportion of which was fermented in American oak barrels, adding sweetness and vanilla cream notes.
Winemakers notes: Typically used for sparkling wine, this Pinot Noir was left to hang on the vine until the 30th of October. An elegant pale pink wine, with delicate wild strawberry, cream, vanilla and cherry aromas. The palate is dry, wonderfully well rounded and fruit filled. Serve at 8-10°c.
